The F Word engages the comic mode and liberatory space of the drag/cabaret form to dig into serious topics: intersectionality, difference, equity, body image and personal evolution. From her unique perspective as a cisgender woman and a drag queen, Fauxnique uses drag and feminism as lenses for each other, both to celebrate and to poke fun, mining truths about the state of feminism past and present. The content of the show itself evolves, taking into consideration the feminist issues of the moment, using its elastic form to accommodate the ever-changing contours of contemporary life.
